    These soft cover, 6½” x 9¼” pictorial history books were authored by longtime CHPS member Mary Bryner Winn to benefit the Society. The Society receives all the proceeds. The book on the left (Images of America: Corona) showcases many intriguing photographs and ephemera from the Corona Public Library Heritage Room’s collection. The book on the right (Postcard History Series: Corona) contains 223 of the best postcard images from Corona’s very generous postcard collectors accompanied by detailed explanatory content gleaned from the memories of some longtime Corona residents. CITY - AN ILLUSTRATED HISTORY OF CORONA written by Diann Marsh. As an architectural historian she writes with skill creating interesting anecdotes and observations. The table of contents chronicles the topics of Corona’s prehistory from Cabrillo”s exploration, the birth of South Riverside (as Corona was first called), the Queen Colony, the 1910’s - Corona Comes of Age, Road Races, Prosperity and Depression and historic tidbits from Norco, El Cerrito,
Glen Ivy and the Fuller Ranch.
